Here’s the reality: No one, in my experience or in the scientific literature, has ever gotten stuck in hypnosis. Your mind is always protecting you, and you’re never “under” anyone’s control. In fact, if I were to stop speaking during a session, you’d either open your eyes or drift into a natural, restful state - much like waking from a nap.
